I am a professor at the Université de Lorraine,
in the
Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie, where I teach mainly 3D modeling, programming, geostatistics and field classes.
I am doing research on 3D subsurface modeling and geostatistics at the Centre de Recherches Pétrographiques et Géochimiques (CNRS UPR 2300) in the Gocad Research Group. My research interests concern the numerical modeling, processing and visualization of geological objects in the face of uncertainty. Read more...
You may check my publications on Google Scholar or ResearchID. The Gocad Research Group publications has a copy of the pdf papers when possible. If you can't access a publication, please contact me and I will be glad to send you a reprint.
Since 2012, I am deputy Editor of Mathematical Geosciences (2010 IF 1.5), an international journal concerned by all aspects of mathematics and modeling in quantitative geosciences.
Personal: My wife and I are the happy parents of Mathilde and Justine. You can check out some pictures. I play guitar and sing (barytone) in Sine Nomine.
